Philip R. Cockerille, Attorney at Law, is committed to putting his 30 years of legal experience to work for the Colorado victims of auto, truck and motorcycle collisions.

Mr. Cockerille grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from Indiana University School of Law in 1975. He moved his practice to the Denver area and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1976.
 

He began a general practice, which evolved into a specialization in representing the victims of serious motor vehicle injuries, including accidents involving cars, motorcycles, trucks, pedestrians, and related matters. Philip Cockerille is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, Colorado Bar Association, National Lawyers Guild and American Association for Justice. He is a parent volunteer at the middle and high schools his children attend. Our offices are centrally located in the Denver metropolitan area, just east of downtown Denver in a beautiful area near City Park with free parking.

A Record of Success A few of our recent successful resolutions that came out of either negotiated settlements or courtroom litigation: A 23-year-old college student was rear-ended on Colfax. After physical therapy was unsuccessful in relieving the student's pain, doctors recommended surgery to fuse the vertebrae in the neck. The student had no health insurance or other medical coverage, so medical care had to be arranged by attorney Philip Cockerille.  The client's surgery was successful, and the client received more than $103,000 in compensation after payment of attorney fees and medical bills. A man and his wife were in a car that was rear-ended. Their injuries required a short course of chiropractic treatment and physical therapy.  They received $23,000 after payment of attorney fees and medical bills. A taxi driver was injured in an auto accident that occurred while he was on the job. He had a few months of physical therapy. In the insurance settlement, he received $25,000 after payment of attorney fees and medical bills. A 57-year-old auto body worker injured his back on the job.  He was not able to return to work.  He received a $42,000 settlement, and will be receiving Social Security Disability benefits and Medicare for the rest of his life.
